We will be reinstating our In-CENT-ives! at KKatMac starting

after the Winter Recess.

KKatMAC’s In-CENT-ives! Program is one part behavior recognition, one part math skills practice.  Here’s how it works:

Each of the Y Pillars (Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility), have been assigned a monetary value.

  • Responsibility: 1 cent
  • Honesty: 5 cents
  • Caring: 10 cents
  • Respect: 25 cents

As children fulfill aspects of these pillars, above-and-beyond basic expectations, they will earn those coins for the PENNY POT! Children who specifically earn money to add to the Penny Pot, will receive a S.U.R.F.S. Card as Individual Recognition for their good deeds! Each Friday, the PENNY POT will be counted, in full, by a child.  The total will be recorded each week. The children are trying to earn money to pay for a variety of rewards of varying value.
